Our Board of Directors
Larry Connors is an award winning entrepreneur and renowned American trader, and author, celebrated for his pioneering work in developing impactful short-term trading strategies and volatility trading strategies for financial market research. With a focus on mean reversion, his innovative approaches have elevated the field of trading and investment.
Mr. Connors began his career in the financial industry in 1982 as an investment advisor at Merrill Lynch. He quickly ascended the corporate ladder, assuming the role of Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ).
In 1995, Connors ventured into entrepreneurship, founding M. Gordon Publishing Group, a financial markets publishing company. His leadership and business acumen led the company to rank amongst Inc’s. fastest-growing private companies in the United States by 2023, making him a proud CEO of an Inc 5000 company.
Mr. Connors went on to establish TradingMarkets.com in 1999, an educational and research platform for traders and investors, and subsequently founded Connors Research, a company dedicated to quantitative trading and market research. TradingMarkets is now leading the movement into AI in the publishing and media industry.
An established author, Mr. Connors has contributed immensely to the field of quantified trading research and market strategies. His prolific written works include titles such as “Buy the Fear, Sell the Greed: 7 Behavioral Quant Strategies for Traders,” “Short Term Trading Strategies That Work,” “The Alpha Formula: High Powered Strategies to Beat The Market With Less Risk,” and “Street Smarts: High Probability Short-Term Trading Strategies.” Street Smarts was selected by Stocks and Commodities Magazine as one of the “classics” for investing and trading books written in the 20th century.
In recognition of his innovative Quantamentals strategy, Mr. Connors was honored with the Charles H. Dow Award by the Market Technicians Association in 2020. His expertise, combined with an ability to transform complex strategies into comprehensible insights, underscores his stature as a leading figure in the trading industry.

Bradley S. Scott
Brad Scott has over 40 years of successful business experience including bringing companies public.
Mr. Scott is the only CEO in the world to have been selected two consecutive years to the Forbes 40 Fastest Growing Publicly Traded Companies list. Mr. Scott’s primary focus is developing, building, and selling businesses once they’ve prospered.
Mr. Scott is the recipient of multiple business awards including the Merrill Lynch/ Ernst&Young/ Inc. Magazine “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the Los Angeles Region. Mr. Scott also serves on several non-profit boards.
Raul Pallares is a successful entrepreneur and former President of M. Gordon Publishing. Mr. Pallares most recently grew the e-commerce start-up WhatSheBuys.com to revenues just under $10 million dollars before successfully selling the company. Mr. Pallares now provides consulting services related to strategy, management, operations, marketing, and developing products and services.
Mr. Pallares is a graduate of Harvard University.
Paul Ruggieri, MD
Dr. Paul Ruggieri is a practicing general surgeon, and an Angel Investor. Throughout his active thirty year career, Dr. Ruggieri has held Department of Surgery Chairman positions at several community hospitals. He has also been a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ruggieri graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his surgical training at Barnes Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. He subsequently served three years on active duty, the last as Department of Surgery Chairman in the United States Army.
